Custom Paraglider Transport Rack

No Tools Needed

A custom rack that’s easy to use, rock-solid in transport, and tailored specifically to the motor it carries.

This project came to us with a clear goal: build a compact, strong, and rattle-free transport custom rack for a paramotor used in paragliding. The customer needed a way to safely secure his motor to his vehicle while keeping it easy to load, unload, and strap down—without using tools.

Designed for Fit, Safety, and Simplicity

The customer brought in a rack he had been using, but it was oversized and didn’t hold the motor tightly enough. We used that setup as a reference point, then started fresh—designing a rack specifically for his motor.

We:

• Drew a template and took precise measurements

• Designed the rack to be vehicle-mounted for safety and security

• Incorporated pins for tool-free securing

• Built the rack to eliminate movement and rattling

  
  

Because paramotors are both valuable and delicate, this job required very tight tolerances. Precision was key, and the final fit was exactly what the application demanded—secure, compact, and solid.

This was a fun project because of the collaboration involved. The customer knew exactly what wasn’t working, and together we turned that knowledge into a purpose-built solution that met his needs perfectly.
