This client came into the shop with a stack of custom cushions and a vision for an outdoor sectional couch built specifically for his backyard.

After getting off shift, he wanted a place to relax outside with his family—comfortable, durable, and built exactly for their space.

Designed Around the Customer

He and his wife came into the shop together, and we worked through the layout, size, and proportions based on exactly how they wanted it to feel and function.

Every measurement was built around their cushions and their space.

Built to Fit and Built to Last

For this project we:

• Built the frame from dimensional steel tubing for strength and clean lines

• Added expanded metal supports to hold the custom cushions while keeping the frame lightweight

• Set the backrest at a 15-degree angle for a more comfortable sit

• Sized each section around the customer’s exact cushions, space, and layout

• Powder coated the finished frame white for a clean look and long-lasting outdoor durability
